SNEADS FERRY, N.C. — A North Carolina woman was arrested Friday for abusing her child.

According to warrants obtained by WCTI, the abuse happened in October 2014.

On Friday, Erin Faye Fox, 32, was arrested and charged with felony negligent child abuse inflicting serious bodily injury, misdemeanor child abuse and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.

Fox is accused of wrapping her 4-month-old daughter in electrical wiring and then drinking rubbing alcohol and doing cocaine.

Fox was found unconscious and intoxicated on the floor of a mobile home sometime between Oct. 16 and 21.

The 4-month-old daughter was said to be malnourished at the time she was located. Warrants say Fox created a “substantial risk of physical injury.”

Fox is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 2.
