Update: All lanes open after wreck shuts down two eastbound lanes of I-40

Updat 8:33 a.m. — All lanes of eastbound I-40 are now open.

Update 8:30 a.m. — The right lane near exit 190 has reopened.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A crash involving a tractor trailer shut down two eastbound lanes of I-40 around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The two eastbound lanes are blocked between Hanes Mall Boulevard and Peters Creek Parkway.

Heavy traffic is expected for two hours.

Police are asking motorists to avoid the area if at all possible.

No injuries were reported.
