EDEN, N.C. — Ku Klux Klan recruitment literature was distributed in Eden and Reidsville communities recently, according to the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office.

Residents in those communities reported finding packets that contain the KKK’s manifesto and candy at the edge of their driveways.

The distribution of this material is not illegal, but the sheriff’s office wants to notify people in the area in case they receive the packet.
