Greensboro police respond to shooting into occupied dwelling

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police responded to a report of an assault on Monday evening.

Officers responded to 2710 Patio Place, Unit A, at approximately 8:33 p.m. and discovered a bullet hole in the window screen of the residence.

None of the residents inside were injured.

Officers were told the suspect got into a dark colored vehicle and fled the area on Patio Place toward Woodbriar Avenue.

An investigation is ongoing.
