SAN DIEGO, Calif. — A Siberian husky has been reunited with her family after being stuck in a storm drain in California.

The San Diego County News Center reported that two animal control officers in San Diego rescued Bella after she somehow got stuck in a storm drain.

Animal control blocked the end of the pipe in the drain, restrained the husky and walked her toward a metal gate. It remains uncertain how the dog got there.

The dog’s family found her through her microchip. Bella has since returned home.
