NASCAR announcer buys home in Forsyth County for nearly $1.8 million

LEWISVILLE, N.C. — A big-name announcer in NASCAR has just bought a home in Forsyth County for nearly $1.8 million.

The Triad Business Journal reported that NASCAR announcer Mike Joy and his wife recently bought property at 110 Nanzetta Way in Lewisville for $1.79 million.

The five-bedroom, six-bathroom home has nearly 8,000 square feet of living space on 27 acres. It was built in 2011.

Joy currently serves as the lap-by-lap voice of Fox Sports’ NASCAR Sprint Cup coverage. He has been part of Fox’s NASCAR broadcast team since 2001.

Joy and his wife bought the property from Robert S. Simon and Sarah N. Simon.
