GULF BREEZE, Fla. — Several bystanders pulled over to help a police officer in Florida who was just injured after a traffic stop – including the officer’s daughter.

Fox10tv.com reported that dash cam video shows the officer conducting a traffic stop at a busy intersection in Gulf Breeze, Fla.

The driver of the car suddenly speeds off after being stopped, apparently running over the officer’s foot and dragging him a few feet.

Bystanders suddenly come to the aid of the injured officer, including his daughter, who begins to scream and cry once she realizes it’s him.

The driver was allegedly going 65 in a 35 mph zone and was driving erratically.

The officer is currently recovering in an area hospital with a compound fracture in his right arm.

The suspect has been arrested.
