The ATM was discovered missing last Monday after a visitor asked an employee where it was and it was gone, according to officials.

Investigators said it appears to have been dragged out of the courthouse’s front door. There are no apparent signs of forced entry, according to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office.

The machine was valued at about $3,500 and had about $2,000 in cash inside at the time, according to investigators.
