Flight diverted over pregnancy complications

SALT LAKE CITY — A flight from California to Minnesota was diverted Wednesday morning after a pregnant woman on board suffered labor complications.

The Delta Air Lines plane was forced to land at the Salt Lake City International airport according to KSTU.

A airport spokeswoman said did not give birth on the plane or at the airport.  She was taken to the hospital.

The plane refueled and continued to Minneapolis.
