NC city makes list of ‘10 US cities with the biggest homes’

One North Carolina city has made a recent list of the 10 cities in the country with the biggest homes.

Raleigh took the number five spot on the list, with a typical house having about 1,871 square feet of living space.

The median estimated price of a home in Raleigh is about $207,000, one of the higher figures nationwide, according to the report.

Residents in the Raleigh area are also wealthier than those in any other metro area in North Carolina, with a median household income of more than $61,000.

Provo-Orem, Utah took the number one spot on the biggest homes list with a median living area of nearly 2,000 square feet and value at about $226,000.
