PLEASANT GROVE, Utah – The mother whose ultrasound reaction went viral gave birth to quadruplets on Sunday.

KFOR-TV reported that Ashley and Tyson Gardner tried unsuccessfully for years to get pregnant.

Finally, the Utah couple learned in July that their first in-vitro fertilization attempt was successful. But the real surprise came during the ultrasound, when they learned she was pregnant with quadruplets.

During Ashley’s 19th week of pregnancy, the mother-to-be underwent emergency surgery to save one of the two sets of twins.

The surgery went well and the doctor was able to cure the babies of twin-to-twin transfusion.

Ashley went into labor on Sunday during her 29th week of pregnancy.

The couple named their baby girls Indie Mae, Esme Jane, Scarlett Elizabeth, and Evangeline Faith.

All four babies are doing great, according to the Gardners’ Facebook page.
