Greensboro police looking for suspect in hit-and-run

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Police are looking for a driver who hit and pedestrian and left the scene Saturday night in Greensboro, leaving the victim with serious injuries.

Police said it happened near the intersection of Spring Garden Street and South Holden Road at about 8:30 p.m.

The vehicle was heading on Spring Garden Street when it struck a pedestrian crossing the roadway, according to police.

Police said the vehicle left the scene after the collision. It was described as a small dark vehicle. A side mirror and headlight were broken from the crash, according to police.

The victim is currently being treated at Moses Cone Hospital for serious injuries.
