COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – A husband and wife in Colorado have been arrested after they allegedly stole about $2,000 worth of Christmas ornaments from neighbors to decorate their own yard.

KKTV.com reported that 18-year-old Jeremy Lewallen and his 42-year-old wife Carrie Carley were arrested after a neighbor saw his decorations in their yard.

Police said both the front and back yards were completely covered with stolen decorations. Authorities described their property as “a decoration graveyard.”

The couple has admitted to stealing the decorations, according to arrest papers. The wife has since apologized.
