Cluster of car break-ins reported in Winston-Salem

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — The Winston-Salem Police Department is currently investigating multiple vehicle break-ins that occurred early Sunday morning.

Police say the crimes occurred in small clusters along the Country Club Road corridor, between the area of Miller Street and Jonestown Road.

In a majority of the break-ins, the vehicles were found to be left unlocked.

Police are currently investigating to see if the events are related to each other, and ask residents to report any suspicious activity to the Winston-Salem Police Department at 773-7700.
