Carolina Panthers beat Atlanta Falcons 34-3, win NFC South

ATLANTA – The Carolina Panthers defeated the Atlanta Falcons in a 34-3 win Sunday in Atlanta and are going back to the playoffs for the second consecutive year.

Carolina on Sunday became the first repeat champion in the NFC South since the NFL’s 2002 realignment, according to the Charlotte Observer.

The NFC South champs will host the Arizona Cardinals in an NFC Wild Card game next weekend, the team announced. The game time has not been released.
