Man pinned between car and building at NC Bojangles’

ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. — Two men are facing charges following an incident outside an Elizabeth City Bojangles’ where a man was pinned between a car and the building.

According to WCTI, police suspect the altercation was drug related.

Dominique Taylor and Brian Harris are facing several felony charges.

The two men got into an argument outside the Bojangles’. The argument turned physical when Harris hit Taylor with his car, pinning him up against the restaurant.

Taylor went inside the restaurant limping after the altercation.

Investigators found Taylor in possession of marijuana when they arrived.

Harris was later identified as the driver of the vehicle that hit Taylor. Harris admitted to hitting Taylor with his vehicle.

Harris said the two men met up at the Bojangles’ to exchange money for marijuana. Harris said Taylor threatened him with a firearm and robbed him of $20.

Taylor was taken to the hospital with a broken hip.

Harris is charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serous injury to real property.

Taylor is charged with armed robbery with a dangerous weapon and assault by pointing a gun.
