GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police responded to a robbery at a grocery store Wednesday night.

The clerk at Your Way Grocery told officers the suspect entered the business at 2436 West Florida St. just after 10 p.m. armed with a gun and demanded money.

The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money and left on foot, heading eastbound toward West Florida Street.

Police said the clerk described the suspect as a black male, approximately 5-foot-5, having a slim build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a white design and a black mask.

The investigation is ongoing.
