Anonymous donor drops two gold bars in Salvation Army’s red kettle

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — An anonymous donor spread some extra holiday cheer Tuesday evening at a Michigan Wal Mart.

According to WXMI, The Salvation Army reports that a donor dropped two one-ounce Troy gold bars into one of the organization’s red kettles.

The gold bars are worth approximately $1,185 each.
