CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are trying to find whoever shot up a northwest Charlotte neighborhood late Tuesday night, sending a toddler to the hospital, according to WSOC-TV.
Officers said a 2-year-old girl was struck after someone shot into a home around 9:30 p.m. She was rushed to Carolinas Medical Center and is expected to be fine.
Officers said there were other people in the house at the time of the shooting but that nobody else was struck by gunfire. Family members said the little girl was inside the front bedroom with her great grandmother when they heard gunfire.
