1 injured in multiple vehicle wreck in Greensboro, Friendly Ave. reopened

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A portion of West Friendly Avenue in Greensboro is closed early Wednesday morning after a multiple vehicle wreck.

West Friendly Avenue is closed between Westover Terrace and the Friendly Avenue/Market Street split until further notice.

Officials say two cars rear-ended a GTA bus that had stopped to pick up passengers around 7:18 a.m. Eight passengers were on the bus at the time of impact.

None of the passengers were injured.

A driver of one of the vehicles was seriously injured in the wreck.
