UNC celebration damages Duke locker room
DURHAM, N.C. — North Carolina’s players damaged Duke’s visiting team locker room following Thursday night’s 45-20 Tar Heels win, causing the school to apologize and foot the bill for repairs, the Herald-Sun reported.
According to sources at both schools, light blue spray paint caused “significant” damage to the visiting team locker room in Duke’s Brooks Practice Facility. The letters “UNC” were painted on a wall next to a door entering the facility.
Interior and exterior walls as well as the carpet were painted, causing thousands of dollars in damages.
