RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. — A man is in custody in connection with multiple residential break-ins in Randolph County.

Emilio Adames Garcia, 23, is charged with four counts of felony breaking and entering, three counts of felony larceny, three counts of felony possession of stolen goods and two counts of obtaining property by false pretense.

On Wednesday, deputies responded to 3347 Providence Church Road in reference to a break-in.

The victim told 911 he had confronted an unknown person exiting his residence after noticing his house had been broken into.

The victim kept Garcia secure until responding deputies could arrive.

Garcia had been a person of interest in several recent residential break-ins. Stolen property such as firearms, jewelry and electronics that matched the recent break-ins were recovered from his vehicle.

At the time of his arrest, Garcia was on pre-trial release for similar crimes.

Garcia was confined in the Randolph County Jail under a $50,000 secured bond.
