Missing Maryland girl found safe in NC home; man being questioned

RALEIGH, N.C. — Authorities said a missing Maryland girl has been found in Raleigh with a man believed to be in his 30s.

WTVD-TV reported that 12-year-old Jasmine Baker disappeared Tuesday morning after she left for school in Baltimore County.

FBI agents found the sixth-grader around 10:30 p.m. Friday at a home in Raleigh. Officials say she appears unharmed.

Detectives are investigating how Baker met the man and the nature of their relationship. Investigators are questioning the man.

Authorities said the girl had a history of communicating with men on social media, through email, texting and apps.
