Fort Bragg troops deploy for Ebola mission in West Africa

FORT BRAGG, N.C. — The next wave of Fort Bragg soldiers is preparing to leave for the Ebola hot zone Saturday, according to WTVD-TV.

About a 100 troops from Fort Bragg and Fort Stewart will fly out Saturday morning. They’re heading to West Africa where they’ll support the ongoing humanitarian relief effort.

The Army says they won’t have direct contact with Ebola patients.
