Suspect sought for robbery of Burlington Walmart

BURLINGTON, N.C. — Police responded to a report of a robbery at Walmart on Monday afternoon.

Officers responded to the Walmart located at 3141 Garden Road at 12:16 p.m. in reference to the reported robbery.

Upon arrival, employees told police that a suspect walked to the customer service counter and produced a note demanding money.

Being in fear, the cashier gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect fled on foot toward Garden Road.

The suspect was described as a black male, approximately 6 feet tall, between 30 and 40 years of age, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and sunglasses.
