HIGH POINT, N.C. — An annual fundraiser to fight hunger and homelessness by the Open Door Ministries will be held next Thursday, Nov. 13.

Lunch will be 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and dinner will be 5-8 p.m., both on Thursday, at the First Presbyterian Church of High Point, located at 918 N. Main St. High Point.

The family-friendly evening (kids 6 and under get in free to sample soups but need to buy a bowl ticket to get a bowl) includes live music from The Major Sevens Band and the chance to learn more about the important work Open Door Ministries does to feed, clothe and shelter our neighbors.

Last year, the Feast of Caring raised $20,000 to support this work, and we hope to double that this year.
