YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — Firefighters rescued a dog that had been stranded on the roof of an Ohio home for three days.

The owner thought the dog — a rottweiler named Isis, had escaped or was stolen during a break-in at his home.

The dog was shaking and grabbing onto the ladder as Youngstown firefighter Kyle Trimble carried her to safety.

After the dog was taken down, she was given French fries and was taken to the pound to be treated.

The owner was cited for not having his dog licensed.
