Man stabbed in neck inside bar in downtown Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Greensboro police said a man was stabbed in the neck and injured inside a downtown bar early Sunday morning.

Police said it happened around 2 a.m. inside the Lotus Lounge at 120 West Lewis St. The name of the victim has not been released.

The victim was taken to a local hospital via emergency medical workers for treatment of non-life threatening injury.

Details surrounding the circumstances of the stabbing have not been released. Police said there is currently no suspect description available.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with any information can call police at (336) 373-1000.

This is the second incident in downtown Greensboro this weekend. One person was killed and four injured in a shooting on Saturday.
