15-year-old boy kidnapped, robbed in Winston-Salem

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Winston-Salem police are searching for two people accused of forcing a 15-year-old boy into their vehicle, robbing him and then leaving him near the Davidson County line early Sunday morning.

The victim told officers that he was near the Family Dollar on Waughtown Street in Winston-Salem when a gold Jeep with two people inside approached him.

Police said the passenger of the Jeep acted as he had a weapon and told the victim to get in the jeep.

The two suspects drove the victim around for a period of time and then took the victim’s cash and cell phone before he was released in a neighborhood off Thomasville Road, according to the Winston-Salem Police Department.

The victim was not injured during this incident, according to police.
