HICKORY, N.C. — A teenage girl played a major role in an arrest of a man accused of two armed robberies and a kidnapping.

According to WSOC, the girl helped investigators identify the suspect through his Facebook account.

The teenager says the robber kidnapped her at gunpoint from a parking garage at Valley Hills Mall. During that time, she learned that he goes by the nickname “Trizzy.”

The teen looked him up on Facebook by his nickname and was able to identify him. She told WSOC she found him wearing the same clothes and a photo of the gun used during the robbery.

The suspect’s real name is Treshun Moore-Fields, and he is charged with armed robbery and kidnapping.

Investigators say he was involved in two robberies in parking lots along Highway 70, including one in which he forced a teenager to drive to an ATM and withdraw money.

The suspect was arrested in Belmont shortly after.
