HIGH POINT, N.C. — Authorities are looking for a man suspected of robbing a bank and possibly a convenience store within three days.

High Point police responded to a robbery at the Bank of America at 115 W. Fairfield Road shortly after 2 p.m. on Oct. 27.

The suspect was armed with a handgun but no shots were fired. No injuries were reported.

Just four days before the incident, police believe the same individual also robbed the Rushco convenience store in Lexington, 1701 Cotton Grove Road.

The High Point Police and Lexington Police Departments are asking for help in identifying this suspect.

He  is described as a white male, tall (over 6’1”), slender with a light beard. He was wearing glasses in High Point but not in Lexington.

In both cases the man appears to have a bandage of some sort on the left side of his neck. It is unknown at this time if the bandage is there to cover up an identifying mark such as a tattoo or if the individual had some sort of wound.

If you have any information about the suspect or the incidents, call High Point Police Crime Stoppers at 336-889-4000 or Lexington Police Crime Stoppers at 336-243-2400.
