Clay Aiken’s bus breaks down after stop at polls on Election Day
CARY, N.C. — Clay Aiken’s tour bus broke down earlier after a stop at the polls in Cary on Election Day, according to WTVD.
Aiken is challenging 2nd Congressional District incumbent Republican Renee Ellmers for her seat.
The bus broke down along Walnut Street and Donaldson Courtjust before 9 a.m., moments after Aiken cast his vote at a Cary polling site.
Aiken’s showdown with Congresswoman Ellmers is one of the highest profile races in North Carolina.
