Two injured after fight at Club Inferno in downtown Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Police said two people were injured after a fight broke out at the Club Inferno bar in downtown Greensboro early Saturday morning.

Police said they were called to the club 1:44 a.m. at 212 S. Elm St. in reference to a stabbing.

A Club Inferno employee apparently tried to stop a fight that had started in the doorway of the bar and the employee was stabbed, according to police.

Police said the victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A second victim suffered from a minor laceration and was treated and released at the scene, according to Greensboro police.

Police have not released any suspect information or a motive as to why the fight occurred.

Two people were injured in a shooting at the same club last year.
