ASHEVILLE, N.C. – Several people are recovering after suffering apparent drug overdoses at a North Carolina concert on Saturday night.

WLOS-TV reported that seven people were taken to Mission Hospital in Asheville late Saturday with signs of drug overdoses.

Officials said on Sunday morning that at least two of the victims were in critical condition. The suspected drugs involved have not been released.

The overdoses reportedly occurred at U.S. Cellular Center in downtown Asheville late Saturday evening.

The venue’s website lists STS9 as the band performing last night. The group is an “instrumental electronic rock band,” according to their Facebook page.

Authorities said around 11:30 p.m. Saturday, police worked with the U.S. Cellular Center staff and the producers of the concert to shut down the event.
