MUNCIE, Ind.– A teenager’s tip to a waitress brings new meaning to the term “dirty money.”

The tip was covered in fecal matter.

According to WTHR, the incident happened last weekend after the waitress at Brothers Bar & Grille left the bill for three Ball State football players and an unnamed 17-year-old.

Police say the 17-year-old got up from the table, went to the bathroom, covered the cash in his “fecal matter,” then handed it to his waitress along with his check.

Three Ball State football players were with the minor at the time of the incident.

Because of that association, Ball State Associate Athletic Director Joseph Hernandez released a statement saying, “We … find the alleged actions deplorable. We are continuing to collect information on the matter and will refrain from further judgment until then.”

The 17-year-old faces one count of battery with bodily waste.
