EUBANK, Ky. — A Sunday School teacher is in custody accused of sexually abusing a 16-year-old boy and threatening the teen with “warlock” powers, according to WKYT.

Rex Murphy is charged with sodomy and sexual abuse.

According to Eubank Police Chief Colin Hatfield, the victim told police Murphy said he was from a family of warlocks and that he could tell all of someone’s sins just by touching them.

Murphy allegedly told the victim he would tell the boy’s parents of all his sins if he talked about the abuse and that the boy could possibly die from this.

“The accusations were very graphic,” Hatfield told WKYT.

Murphy was arrested at a relative’s home in Madison County, Ky., on Monday night.

Police believe there may be more victims.
