RALEIGH, N.C. – A North Carolina family is dealing with a record-setting amount of newborn puppies.
WRAL-TV reported that a family Labrador in Raleigh named Naia recently gave birth to 16 puppies, more than double the size of an average litter.
“It was a shock,” Dawn Parry, Naia’s owner said, according to WRAL-TV.
Parry and her husband, Bobby Parry, worked around the clock in the first few days to care for them, according to the TV station.
