A city in North Carolina has recently been named one of the best places in the country to live. recently published a list called “America’s 50 Best Cities to Live.” Cary took the number eight spot.

Cary is the seventh largest municipality in North Carolina and is in Wake and Chatham counties. It was the only city from the Tar Heel state to make the list.

Cary ranked high for several reasons including the rapidly-growing downtown and low unemployment rate, according to the website.
