3 Winston-Salem juveniles arrested for armed robberies

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Police arrested three juveniles in connection with three armed robberies Thursday night.

Police received reports of armed robberies that happened in close proximity to each other in a 20-minute span just before 11 p.m. — one in the 2100 block of Main Street, one at Acadia Avenue and Broad Street and one at Sunnyside and Haled streets.

All the victims said they were robbed at gunpoint by three people wearing hooded sweatshirts and sunglasses, authorities said.

Police found three juveniles nearby and arrested them in connection with the robberies. The juveniles are being held in the Juvenile Detention Center.
