Thomasville man charged with cocaine trafficking

THOMASVILLE, N.C. — A Thomasville man was charged with cocaine trafficking after police found 35.5 grams of cocaine in his possession.

John Davis May, 42, of 113 Griffith St., was charged with two counts of trafficking in cocaine by possession and manufacture, possession of a controlled substance with the intent to manufacture cocaine, felony possession of cocaine, maintain a dwelling for controlled substance, felony possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

On Oct. 2 Thomasville Police executed a search warrant at the Griffith Street residence and located the cocaine along with 58.6 grams of marijuana.

Mays is being held in the Davidson County Jail under a $100,000 secured bond. His court date is scheduled for Nov. 26.
