WLOS-TV reported that it happened around midnight Wednesday at Haywood Lounge in Asheville.

Owner Hosea Jackson said the suspect stole several flat-screen TVs, cash from the register and a few bottles of tequila.

The owner said he captured an image of the suspect on surveillance video.

He said the suspect appeared comfortable in the situation, walking around the business with shorts and flip-flops, acting in a calm manner.

The owner said the criminal drank from a container of cranberry juice during the crime and left the container behind. He said he wants forensics to investigate the container.

“Yeah I consider him a dumb crook,” the owner said. “It is funny actually.”

The owner said he can think of one name for the criminal.

“The cranberry man,” Jackson says. “I’m surprised he didn’t cook him some chicken wings while he was here.”
