KANNAPOLIS — Fantasia Barrino, the High Point woman who won season three of “American Idol,” will be inducted into the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame this month, according to the High Point Enterprise.

Since her win, she has landed numerous recordings, a role in the Broadway musical “The Color Purple,” and a Grammy Award.

Tickets to the induction ceremony are $25 apiece and are available at the museum or by calling (704) 934-2320.
