THOMASVILLE, N.C. — A woman was arrested after she allegedly pinned a man against a tree with a vehicle.
Connie Marie Gore, 34, of Thomasville, is charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury and attempted assault with a deadly weapon.
Deputies with the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office responded to 201 Kindley Cemetery Road on Sunday at 7:14 p.m. in reference to an assault.
When deputies arrived on scene they learned that Gore and Chic Combs were involved in an altercation.
Combs was transported to a local hospital for severe lacerations to his upper and lower leg he received when Gore backed her car into him, pinning him between the car and a tree.
Gore was taken into custody under a $50,000 secured bond. She is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 21.
