GREENSBORO, N.C. — Four people are recovering from minor injuries after an accident on I-40 today.

Eastbound traffic was slowed for almost one and a half hours as police and emergency workers tried to untangle the mess near the N.C. 68 intersection on the west side of Greensboro.

Police say 21-year-old Traquan Vixon was driving a Ford Crown Victoria onto I-40 from N.C. 68. He lost control and hit a Honda and a truck.

Police charged Vixon with driving too fast for conditions and said he will be facing other charges.

All the cars had to be towed away.
