65-year-old man arrested in connection with string of burglaries in downtown High Point

HIGH POINT, N.C. — A 65-year-old man was arrested in connection with a string of burglaries in the downtown area of High Point.

Ulysses Harrington was arrested and charged with the burglaries at Sumela’s Cafe, Kepley’s Bar-b-que and Emerywood Cafe.

Police say several business had been burglarized during the past few months.

Harrington is in the Guilford County Jail under a $50,000 bond.
