New bakery in Winston-Salem focuses on bundt cakes

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Nothing Bundt Cakes, a bakery focused on bundt cakes, opened Friday at 678 St. George Square off Hanes Mall Boulevard, according to the Winston-Salem Journal.

The bakery offers a wide range of cake flavors and sizes — from single–serve bundtinis to larger bundts that serve up to 18 people, and tiered cakes for up to 26 people.

Nothing Bundt Cakes will have grand-opening events Oct. 9-11. A ribbon cutting with the Winston-Salem Chamber of Commerce will be held at 10 a.m. Oct. 9.

Nothing Bundt Cakes said 20 percent of its Oct. 10 sales will be donated to Brenner Children’s Hospital.

On Oct. 11, starting at 11 a.m., the first 50 guests with purchases will win one bundtlet per month for a year.

Nothing Bundt Cakes was founded in 1997 and is based in Las Vegas. The company has 105 bakeries in 22 states. The local franchise owners are Traci and P.J. Moore.
