SARASOTA, Fla. — Breaking into a home can apparently be pretty tiring.

Police say a thief was in the process of robbing a home when he stopped to take a nap.

A maid walked into the home in Sarasota to clean it and found the kitchen window open and a strange man asleep on one of the beds.

Police arrived to find open drawers, expensive items set aside around the house and a black bag by the front door.

Dion Davis was so fast asleep, police snapped a picture for evidence, according to First Coast News.

Davis was placed under arrest and charged with residential burglary.
