Scene clear after investigation of ‘suspicious cooler’ in Thomasville

THOMASVILLE, N.C. — The scene is now clear after Thomasville police investigated a “suspicious” cooler in the parking area in front of the Kmart and Ingles in the 1100 block of Randolph Street.

At 4:45 p.m. Thomasville police tweeted, “TPD investigating suspicious package @ Thomasville Commons Shopping Center.”

A bomb disposal robot was brought in to investigate the cooler.
