Two hundred marijuana plants seized in Virginia

BASSETT, Va. — More than 200 marijuana plants have been seized by the Henry County Sheriff’s Office and the Virginia State Police.

The 211 marijuana plants were located Wednesday in a wooded area around 1974 Original Henry Road in Bassett, Virginia.

A search warrant was executed at the residence and located inside were quantities of dried and drying marijuana, a firearm and a lab previously used to manufacture marijuana.

The marijuana plants are valued at $738,500. Charges have not been placed at this time but the investigation is continuing.
