One man charged, two sought in High Point home invasion

HIGH POINT, N.C. — A family was held at gunpoint in their home early Friday morning as three armed men robbed them.

According to the High Point Enterprise, three men forced their way into a house in the 1000 block of Albert Avenue just after 6 a.m. Friday.

One man held the family at gunpoint while the other two robbed them of video games, cell phones, money and laptops.

Demondrea Trykeem Williams, 19, of 1612 Seven Oaks Place, High Point, was arrested by police and charged with felony robbery with a firearm, felony first-degree burglary and misdemeanor assault on a minor under the age of 12.

Williams is in the Guilford County Jail under a $15,000 bond.

Police are still looking for two other suspects.

Police don’t believe the men knew the family.
